Eric Porter began his coaching career where his playing career started at Ulster County Community College, as an assistant who focused primarily on outfielders and hitting. Winning back to back regional championships in 2021 and 2022, Coach Porter helped contribute by helping improve the team batting average and slugging percentage year by year.
Porter’s passion for baseball runs deep into his playing days from little league all the way to the college level. Coach Porter is known for his electric energy and intensity on and off the field and players around him always tend to follow up with the same energy and intensity. Porter is also very passionate about strength and conditioning as he has some knowledge on weight lifting and strength training to help improve players become better overall athletes.
